Description:
A position as a mod_perl/DBIx::Class developer is now open for a highly
qualified and
motivated professional who is ready to make a significant contribution to
expanding the leading game
development tool provider for highend web 3D, online, MMO, and mobile
games. In this developer
role you will be responsible for taking a crazy idea and turning it into
hardcoded reality. You will be a
key member of a crack team that implements a service for automating serving
handling and conversion of tens of thousands of assets, such as 3d models,
images and audio.


Required skills:
At least 5 years experience with developing web applications.
Experience in developing database applications using MySQL, PostgreSQL or
Oracle.
Excellent programming skills.
Good planning skills and the ability to keep the goal in sight, even when
things get hectic.
Ability to work in an environment where flexibility and solution focus in
highly regarded.


Desired skills:
Experience in using ORM wrappers such as DBIx::Class or Class::DBI
Experience in developing using C++, C# and/or Objective C
Knowledge of encryption and secure communication over insecure channels.
Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools such as Google analytics.
Experience with working with internet payment gateways and handling of
security sensitive data.
