AFAIK What CPAN needs much more than a few new modules is 1) QA - you can test hundreds of modules and send patches thereby getting your name into lots of important modules instead one or two of your own. 2) Packaging and easy installation of full applications. but this is not exactly the right mailing list for this. Gabor ps. For both 1) and 2) a lot has been done in the past few years, still we have a long way to go.
