very nice post. mmmmm, cheese & onions. i'm currently a full-time grad student, and am one of the people you mention that are happy to contract part-time for an extra $1000/month; in fact, that's exactly what i'm doing right now. i have a full plate of contract work right now, but i encourage any and all job postings, high- or low-wage. (and i think Ask mentioned that it was very likely that this job posting came from a company that had a limited budget of $1000/month to spend, and was trying to find someone who could do the almost-certainly-not-full-time work the company needs for that amount of money. i agree that that's very likely, as a few of my clients are in the exact same position, and such clients are very appealing to part-time contractors like me.) -- Steve Paris Sinclair wrote: > For telecommuting positions, I'd like to remind you that here in Oregon, > $1000/month for a part time position is just fine.
