After recently adding
headcount in our Perl Engineering team, we now need a SW Eng Manager to
manage and lead design, development and maintenance projects, meeting the
scope, quality, time, and budget targets. Additionally, this person this
individual will manage all relevant stakeholder expectations and
relationships and regularly provide visibility for the projects status.

Desired skills:
• 2+ years of managing teams building production software
• 5+ years in
software development skills, preferably Perl as nearly all our SW
engineering develop using OOPerl in a Linux environment 

 Extra points
for: 
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is preferred, but not
required
• Knowledge of major protocols as well as engineering best
practices
• A solid understanding of performance and efficiency issues.
•
Experience taking a leading role in building complex software systems that
have been successfully delivered to customers.
