Role and Responsibilities

We’re looking for a senior Perl developer with a
background in information/cyber security to help evolve an existing
security architecture into a new one. The client is a top 25 global
university system, touching hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of
current students, faculty, staff, and alumni across the world.

Looking for
someone who can not only update and document the code, but suggest strategy
as well. Must be a sharp self-starter with a verifiable history of success.
The right person has highly advanced Perl skills, as well as SQL and
ideally a background in security.

This is a contract role, which should
take 3-4 months, and given the security-focused nature, we’re looking for
someone who can join us on-site in downtown Manhattan. After the project,
major opportunity to either help other, similar clients or potentially be
hired directly by the organization.

Salary: Competitive and negotiable for
the right person
