Description:
State Farm has over 92 tools currently being used by multiple levels of
telephony infrastructure teams within their organization. These tools were
created in multiple languages, with no documentation to tell what the tool
is doing and the individuals that created the tools are no longer working
at State Farm. These tools either need to be sunset, re-written or created
from scratch based on the value they provide the SF organization. If State
Farm does not get a handle on these tools, they will continue to pay labor
dollars for individuals to do manual work on multiple teams across the
organization, costing them millions of dollars.

Once these tools are
updated, created or sunset, as an example State Farm agents will be able to
go to a self-service portal for automated name changes on phones. Removing
the 1st level analyst from the equation, saving everyone time and money.

Desired skills:
1. Perl/Python scripting/development experience
2. Automation/tool build
experience
3. Experience with APIs and micro services
4. Dev/Ops experience
with Git/Docker, etc would be a huge plus
5. Experience with node.JS
6.
Experience with full stack development - predominantly backend with some UI
development experience would be preferred.
