We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our fast-paced Unix
Development team in Kansas City.
Adknowlege’s Senior Software Engineer position will be charged with:

•	Server-side development in C or C++, including new product
development and enhancements.
•	Optimizing and Stabilizing large proprietary sets of code
responsible for billions of daily calculations and requests.
•	Acting as a mentor to junior software engineers.


Required skills:
We are seeking a senior level, hands-on professional with the following
qualifications:

•	Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
•	5+ years of C or C++ server-side development experience.
•	5+ years developing in a UNIX environment.
•	3+ years of Perl development.
•	
•	Experience translating requirements into solutions.


Desired skills:
2+ years non-academic SQL development with any DBMS, Oracle preferred.
