Description:
Velocity Squared, an established Software Development and Technology
Consulting firm located in Baton Rouge, LA has an immediate opening for a
talented mod_perl Programmer.

You will be required to work with a team of expert programmers to design,
build, and support web-based applications written in Perl running on
Linux/Apache/MySQL/mod_perl.

The main project you will be working on is ConnectUtilities.com. 
ConnectUtilities, Inc. is the Nation's leading Internet Utility Connection
Aggregator. With www.connectutilities.com, mover's anywhere in the United

requested, scheduled, and connect within just minutes rather than hours.


Required skills:
- Perl and mod_perl (at least 2 years)
- DBI and MySQL or equivalent (at least 1 year)
- XML (at least 1 year)
- BS in EE, CS or equivalent
- Ability to learn new skills quickly.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Permanent legal right to work in the United States.

Bonus Skills:
  - Experience with cvs or equivalent.
  - C, C++, or Java experience.
