They are looking for somebody with Perl experience on a UNIX background with ideally some experience with SYBASE or a similar relational database application. No previous banking experience is required but should have some experience of working as part of an IT team in a medium - large organisation. PERL is an essential pre-requisite for this post but a combination of formal and on-the-job training will be given for other aspects of the role. They are offering a very attractive package Required skills: Minimum 3 years PERL experience is required for this role ideally in a UNIX environment with some exposure to SYBASE or similar relational database application. Experience of working in an IT team within a mid-large organisation is preferable. Desired skills: Desired but not essential: Korn Shell, SYBASE, ORACLE, Citrix, GLOSS.
