Project Scope:	



The Project Group is a global team supporting Financial, Regulatory,
Business Unit Controllers and Operations groups. The data warehouse
applications encompass a 3-tier framework. The client, middleware and
backend development. The Project Group deals with advanced database
technologies such as streamed data warehouse architecture, clustering,
metadata, multithreading, parallel access and load principles, open
architecture leveraging XML protocol and Web development.  The role will be
to fix and/or develop tools and Perl modules for a specific financial
system.  


Required skills:
Skills Required - Experience 3 to 5 years in:

Perl5, SQL database development in a Unix / Linux environment. 

Required skills should include Perl5, SQL, K-Shell, Unix (Solaris and/or
Linux), extensive knowledge of Unix shell scripts, and Unix in general. 

Candidate should have good communication skills, both written and oral. 

The candidate should be self-motivated and have a proven record of managing
their own time. 

Provide regular status reporting and be able to assess potential risks in
the projects.  


Desired skills:
Other desired skills are  DB2, Java, C# experience a plus but not required.
