Oversee.net will be in Boston to meet, greet, and interview interested
candidates.  We will be conducting interviews for mid to senior level
engineers at the Hotel Commonwealth in Boston, MA on Thursday, September
21st and Friday, September 22nd.

Required skills:
Senior Perl Engineer

The Technology team is seeking a senior-level Perl developer. This position
will focus on building clever, scalable, extensible, reliable web
applications and support frameworks. We need someone who will be creative
and thorough and takes great pride in creating the best possible systems
for continued development. We use mod_perl and template toolkit - Catalyst
on Linux. 

Responsibilities: 
- Architect, design, develop, manage and implement new engineering projects

- Mentor and guide small team of engineers 


Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience developing under mod_perl. 
- Very strong Perl skills. Strong knowledge of OO concepts a must. 
- Experience engineering large Perl software projects from modules to
scripts and web interfaces. 
- Template toolkit - Catalyst experience 
- Experience with relational database and DBI 
- SQL database experience required 
- MySQL experience is a plus 
- Strong Unix/Linux user skills 
- System administration experience is a plus 
- Experience mentoring junior-mid level engineers 
- Team lead experience for small groups of developers
