APPLICATION DEVELOPERS

We are looking for Application Developers to work in a flexible and
fast-paced team supporting sales and large clients in the Asia-Pacific
region with customized technical solutions. Responsibilities include
working with sales teams to rapidly design and develop solutions to the
unique situations of our high-spend advertisers. Solutions may include
customized data processing and analysis, reporting, and web-based tools;
responding quickly to requests for technical services from advertisers and
sales teams across the region; supporting and ensuring the ongoing quality
of existing solutions; developing a deep understanding of client needs and
internal systems' capabilities. This position will base in Hong Kong and
report to Regional Project Manager.


Required skills:
The ideal candidate should have 4+ years' experience in designing and
developing software using object-oriented languages running on UNIX
platforms. With 2+ years' experience in developing large-scale
object-oriented applications in Perl and with a deep understanding of that
language required. Other competencies include 2+ years of data management
experience with relational databases; fluency with SQL; experienced with
batch data processing using Perl or UNIX shell scripts and designing
distributed Web systems; strong Linux/Unix skills; strong understanding of
XML, HTTP, SOAP and other similar technologies; familiarity with
double-byte characters and UTF-8, with experience in Natural Language
Processing a plus. Ideal candidates should also have enthusiasm for
creating and evolving effective solutions for client development; excellent
debugging and creative problem-solving skills; strong written and verbal
communication skills; fluency in English, as well as one of the following
languages preferred: Korean, Japanese, Mandarin or Cantonese. Bachelor's
degree in Computer Science or a related engineering degree required.
