Description:
The Perl Developer will be expected to:

- Help with large backlog of maintenance and enhancement initiatives to
clear the plate for a redesign
- Work with Business Analyst to create technical specifications for
re-write of applications
- Participate in full life cycle development including testing and
documentation
- Resolve issue logs 


Required skills:
- Perl (object oriented), 5+ years 
- mod_perl 
- SQL, 5+ years (preferably in a PostgreSQL or Oracle environment) 
- Advanced object oriented methodologies, 5+ Years 
- Experience maintaining large systems 
- Exposure to some sort of persistence or abstraction layer 
- OTHER SKILLS: Mason (v1.0.6), Template:Toolkit, XML, PostgreSQL, Oracle
(Data Warehouse), ETL work, Some secondary language (C/C++, Java, Python,
Ruby, etc.), Experience with school operations, especially in the areas of
enrollment, scheduling and attendance 


Desired skills:
