Posted: October 31, 2006 Job title: Database Manager for Perl CRM Company name: Herzig Eye Institute Location: Canada, Onatario, Toronto Pay rate: $30 per hour $CDN Travel: 0% Terms of employment: Independent contractor (hourly) Hours: Flexible Onsite: some Description: We prefer a programer/company physically based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada We have a custom CRM application: - written in Perl - using a MySQL database - which lives on its own RedHat linux dedicated server - serving intranet requests through a mod perl / apache interface - presentation layer is built on the HTML::Template library You are looking for: - a development firm/person that can extend existing perl / mysql web applications - can work remotely on another company's server - can understand the application and improve on the foundation, rather than just applying band-aid fixes We see this roll as an as needed consultant relationship helping us continue to develop our CRM database from the point is now and continuing to add functionality and value add.
