Posted: December 14, 2006 Job title: SQA Engineer with Perl skills Company name: PrideStaff Location: Santa Clara, CA, San Jose Pay rate: $50 to $60/hr USD, W2 Travel: 0% Terms of employment: Hourly employee Length of employment: Contract to Hire Hours: Full time Onsite: yes Description: Need a SQA Professional who knows Perl to test sophisticated Linux/Windows (NFS & CIFS) File System software products. I have placed over 30 people with this client in the last two years with 19 having converted to full time employees. I have several on contract there currently. This gig is Contract to Hire by intent of the hiring manager Work is all on site with somewhat flexible work hours. Location is Santa Clara/Sunnyvale part of the South SF Bay Area (Silicon Valley) and is near public transportation. Please reply with your resume. Must have right to work for any US company on an individual W2 basis. There is no relocation assistance or remote work. Required skills: - Strong SQA experience in both Black Box and White Box testing. - Good Perl Coding skills (must understand scripting, modules, forked processes) - Work in both Linux and Windows environments - able to debugg Perl Scripts - Have experience with Storage OR File systems OR Networking protocols (TCP/IP, RTTP, FTP, etc.) - Working knowledge of NFS, CIFS, FC, and iSCSI (NFS plus one other is ok) - Be a self-starter, able to work with little direction/supervision - Able to work onsite in Santa Clara/Sunnyvale area.
