We're looking for innovative, exceptional data developers with an enthusiasm for solving interesting problems. Our developers work on a variety of projects including data manipulation, analytics, web apps, and internal tools, all helping us collect, integrate, and present data about healthcare professionals from a vast array of sources. This position reports to a technical manager, who sometimes does hands-on development alongside you. Developers in this team are the keystone of the company, providing over 80% of the deliverables responsible for company revenue. This position requires at least 3 years of past programming experience. Perl, SQL, and Linux/Unix are important skills to be a success in this position. Experience in data manipulation and past experience in any development life cycle will help. To be successful at HMS, you've got to be self-motivated. There are a lot of smart people to learn from here, but none of them are going to hold your hand. Attention to detail, deadlines, and quality are critical.
