RE: JPL build errors with ActivePerl 5.6.0

I have compiled and installed the JPL::JNI at NT with SP5.
I use MSVC 6, JDK1.1.8, and Perl 5.00503 binary and source code.
There was compiling problem for me with ActivePerl(I forgot
what exactly the problem is).

However I got problem with the C++ format JNI function at JNI.xs.
It works fine after I changed all of them to C format.

I am having a problem building the JPL::JNI module on
WinNT.  The problem, unfortunately, is not where I expected
it to be.  The problem seems to be inside one of the Perl core
header files and not within the JNI module itself.  iperlsys.h
doesn't want to compile.  See below.

I have been through the directions listed in the JPL README and
everything seems to have worked correctly to this point.  Can
someone with experience with building this module on WinNT offer
some insight?

I am using ActiveState's 5.6.0 source code, MS VC 6 with SP3,
WinNT 4 with SP6, and Sun's JDK 1.1.8 for Win32.
