I find your idea of "a reasonable number of open windows" a bit strange.
If I have 20 windows open at the same time, it is *high time* to close
most of them, because all I see is a clutter.

But the main question is: how much more memory? I wouldn't want to waste
too much memory on a help file reader, mostly because I tend to have
several other resource hungry apps open at the same time, such as
Photoshop, QuarkXPress, Acrobat Distiller and Acrobat Reader, and of
course MacPerl (otherwise it makes no sense to have Shuck open). It
should, basically, remain low profile.

But anyway, I would like Shuck to refuse gracefully to open more
windows, if it looks like it will have a shortage of memory. You then
would have the option to close some other windows, and try again.
