All,
I've thrown together a little module for writing MIDI data to a MIDIOUT
device under Win32. This thing is -very much- alpha, is very low-level, and
does very little for you, except give you the ability to write MIDI messages
to a given device. You'll have to create the messages on your own.
It's based (very much so) on Win32::Sound, and is recommended that you
have this module as well. (It looks like Dada stopped short of doing
exactly this, maybe the two could be combined, easily?)
I'm no C programmer, and this is my first XS code, however, it seems to
work just fine. If anyone wants to pick this up and take it further, let me
know -- I'm not going to be a good C programmer any time soon. You will
need a C compiler and a make program to install this module.
