Hi, I'm subscribed also. One of my back burner projects is to use midi-perl to develop some change ringing midi files. I've got the basic permutation parts written in Perl. Now I need to add some of the fancier moves and the subroutines to turn a row into a series of notes. In answer to Alex's question I'm also a Csound user. I had tended to stick with FM instruments in my Csound work, since I have a several Yamaha synths at home and have a feel for what works, but I'm working my way through the Csound book and have been trying some of the other systhesis approaches.
