(*) Even if this gets integated t, say, 5.6.1, there are still a lot
of 5.005 systems out there, and even 5.004 systems...this is, in fact,
an important point to remember: saying "it's in the standard distribution"
isn't a good enough to reason to drop a module!  I think we must at
least attempt to cover 5.6, 5.005, and 5.004.  Yes, some module
authors do not anymore support 5.004, and they are allowed to do so.
The installation process of the SDK must be robust enough not to fall
over in such situations.
