Fwd: Fwd: SDL_Perl Errors

I dled the svn version that David sent me a link to and I got this error
message:

Base class package "Module::Build" is empty.
   (Perhaps you need to 'use' the module which defines that package first.)
at make/lib/SDL/Build.pm line 34
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at make/lib/SDL/Build.pm line 34.
Compilation failed in require at Build.PL line 36.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at Build.PL line 36.

I just installed Module::Build last night from CPAN...  any ideas?
