That's why none of my books ideas have bubbled up to the top of my 
to-do list just yet.  It seems like all of my colleagues now have 
books out, but I'm holding out until I find the right topic.

The idea that it's more for the prestige than the money makes a strong 
case for open-sourcing a book.  I've been watching how O'Reilly has 
open sourced some of its books.
