I'm happy to do this, but I'll need to be reminded every time it comes  
up since the general rule is to send patches upstream first and let  
them come into blead as integrations (unless there are compelling  
reasons, like clearing a lot of smoke).  There doesn't seem to be an  
upstream/downstream workflow that works well for everybody all the time.
