Grumble..
In my case no software was installed nor uninstalled.
And when it happens, it is always after reboot, and only semi-randumb
shortcuts in the lower right quarter of the desktop.
I have roughly 70 on the desktop, logically related groups at various
screen areas.
So when i am working on credit card info (purchase and payment
history) the area would be middle left and if stock info the area would
be middle right.
I have never seen this migration problem except in the lower right
quarter of the desktop.
Rarely, i see it in the upper eighth, right quarter of the desktop.
Would be nice if shortcut icon placement could be assigned in a fixed
grid array (eg: KISS.
Thanks
