There are Web interfaces. I prefer a newsreader and traditional News
server.

No one has judged the inherent value of the topic. The issue is whether
you are motivated to build a Usenet audience. Discussion must come
first. An empty newsgroup doesn't magically start discussion.

It's a wonderful but less well known medium of communication.
