i'm writing you about mod_mp3. i've a problem. xmms when i put http://myvirtualhost:8000 as url just get the title and skip to the next song. any idea? i know you write in the faq: XMMS is just sitting here doing nothing. Look at the example, you probably don't have your virtualhost defined correctly. but i think mod_mp3 is quite well configured 'cause: 1. xmms isn't sitting down but get the title and skip; 2. if i try with mozilla http://myvirtualhost:8000/?op=rss i've the list of the songs; 3. if i get with mozilla http://myvirtualhost:8000 or http://myvirtualhost:8000/?op=play&song=key, mozilla propose me to open the song with mpg123 or to download it (a .mpga). i don't know well shoutcast(the protocol and the way in which work), but i often i listen to a radio streamed by shoutcast, so i think that isn't a problem of xmms. hoping to read you soon, (i apologize with brian for writing him personally) -- Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music.
