Hi Steven,

You're almost there with Spectral effects. The bit that you're missing is,
how to make a "spectral selection". Fortunately that's described in the
manual. See: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/spectral_selection.html

Re. the forum registration: Have you checked the spam folder of your email?
The confirmation email may have been wrongly classified as spam. If that's
not the problem, please send me the user name that you tried to register
with and I'll see if I can find out what's gone wrong.
