Re: NO SOUND

Hi Keith,
Don't know what interface device you are using but I can think of a couple
things that would cause a lack of sound.
1. Make sure your interface device *does,* or *does not,* need software to
be recognized by Audacity.
2. go to the *transport* menu and scroll to the bottom where it says
"Rescan Audio Devices." Click on it to make sure that your computer is
recognizing all audio devices that you are using, even if you have chosen
internal audio.
3. in the Audacity menu, below all the tools, you will see 4 multi-choice
boxes, the last of which will be the device of choice. You may also click
on the up/down arrows to choose the one you want to use if it's not already
displayed. This is the only thing I know that may solve your problem
simply. Other users may have more extensive solutions. Good luck.
