Also the gnudb server does work at http://gnudb.gnudb.org:80/~cddb/cddb.cgiBut you need to start EAC with command line option -HTTP1.1(in upcoming versions this flag will be set as default, so this will not be necessary in the future)

It's not a standard URL, you're supposed to add it in EAC under the Metadata Options.

All I get at freedb.dbpoweramp.com is a default page that says the Apache HTTP server is installed and running. No database lookup stuff.

Just saw on the Hydrogenaudio forums that dBpoweramp is now hosting a
freedb instance at freedb.dbpoweramp.com.
