Re: installing new HD rig with Logic TDM - recommended configuration?

Generally with Apple you can't install an earlier OS than the  
computer ships with.  You may have to install Leopard on an external  
drive, possibly with another CPU, and try booting from it and if it  
works, clone it to your Internal HDD.  A lot of times the installer  
will just reject installer disks that predate the CPU.  Yuu will  
likely have to update some plugs which should mostly be free from the  
manufacturer.
