This doesn't make any sense.

PAL and NTSC are movie formats, and I assume you have created an audio file, which should be...neither of the above.

PAL and NTSC have different frame rates (usually) but with audio files, the critical factor is sample rate. 

Did you perhaps give your music track to your guy as a movie file?
