I just got an iPad and am looking for some instrument controller apps - piano and any other interesting kind of things. I have touchOSC, and played around a bit with it as logic controller, but what is available for instrument controllers? Search in App store doesn't seem to
have a complete list. I downloaded a few things that are iPad instruments, looking for something useful as a logic instrument controller - maybe something like the expressionpad or mugician that could control a Logic instrument - and general keyboard or other
interesting apps that could control inputing midi. I didn't buy garageband - is that at all useful for Logic? And do I need to buy the camera adapter to use it as a wired input device? It's interesting to see all the new ways of thinking about designing input - like the Jordan Rudess app, can't remember the name - would just like to try it within Logic. I did a lot of googling, but not finding anything in the way of pro instrument controllers.
Also if there's any suggestions of TouchOsc Templates for logic instruments, would love
to hear that as well. It seems I can manipulate parameters within an instrument, but
Logic isn't recording it as automation - Do I need OSCulator and specific templates
to accomplish that?
