Re: [SoundDiver] JLCooper MSB 16/20 and/or MSB+ Rev2 with Sounddiver

Glad you've found a solution. Yes taking notes is essential. It is possible 
to change patches on the JLCooper from within SD, but if it's in easy reach 
it's much simpler to use the front panel buttons.

    As a footnote, I found I had run out of inputs for my synths. I could 
start up SD but it couldn't receive info from everything and would freeze, 
or not recognise everything. I looked for a decent midi merge box and found 
nothing - untill I found an Opcode Studio 5LX. It is the only one I found to 
merge more than 2 inputs into 1 output. It's a bit like using a gold plated 
Sherman tank to crack a tiny wallnut, but what a superb piece of kit!! You 
need a Mac to program it, and the guy who sold me the Studio5 also had an 
old laptop he sold me to go with it. I've got about a dozen 
synths/FX/computers all connected to my Atari MegaSTE running Notator/SDiver 
and works a treat.

    Sound like you're doing the right thing - start simple and build up 
slowly.
