I updated my site last night to the 1.0b18pre1.

Very Nice! Thank you!

The update went on without a hitch. Well done!

The themes and the and all the work for a better look are very successful.
Nice work!

I am seeing a few small things:

One thing worth mentioning is that after playing around for a bit I ran the
database maintainer. It ran for a long time, you might want to warn people
that the first run of the maintainer will be a long one and what it might
do in the release readme. It appears to have reread all of the mp3s and
updated their info in the database when the id3 didn't match the id3 in the
mp3. This re-syncing (I see it as a good thing) of course resulted in
putting some of the origional garbage that I had edited out back in. I
turned on the editing / updating and have started working on changing
things back and this time the files will stay in sync with the database.
The updating on a Win2k server is working well.

On search results pages listing tracts in the "SPECIAL ADMINISTRATOR AND
EDITOR TOOLS" there is a block to the right of "Batch Organize" that
contains a cryptic "Dateipfade aneigen" What is that?

If I edit (or batch edit) and then browse the changes I've made on aren't
reflected in the data in the tables (even if I refresh) until I close the
browser and then reopen it. If I remove all of the tracks from a genere and
click on a genere then it shows empty but the gener still shows on the
browse page until I close the browser and then reopen.

I haven't started working with the sub-generes yet I was hoping you could
explaing a bit more about setting this up and what the "Generate
Subgeneres" under Database Maintainence will actually do.

One other thing that I would ask is for an explaination of what "Organize"
accomplishes or is supposed to do. Why would I want to do this and what is
it doing or supposed to do. This info would be very useful in the docs.
If I missed it please tell me what to go read.

I do have more testing to do but so far WOW!

BTW, If there are any words to the wise about configuring "batch
downloading" (on WIN2k, using info-zip packages ) I'm all ears/eyes. :-))

Thanks
Al Brown
