oh! i protest against one thing...
i understand problems you have, and yeah, i also thing nat'ed DSL's suck. 
they usually suck more than you could ever upload ;p 
and yeah, i am currently stuck on writing workaround for such crap, and also 
disguisted as hell.. this kills internet. i think some 'comnet' should be 
created , and separated from internet by guarded firewalls. and interned 
filled with porn, warez and all other stuff commercial providers would like 
to avoid so comnet would never have slightest chance to have any bridges...

on the second hand, you could stil make tunnels over comnet :> 
but damn, you would have your IP's then.

adresses. 
it is cheaper to kill 2billions than to uprgade routers to ipv6... ;) </joke>

one thing i disagree with you, leave all copies of binaries and sources of 
speak freely on your site. you're author, you wrote disclaimer, code, then 
eol statement. don't delete anything, just make eol bold faced, and freeze 
files , signing them with xdelta and mirroring on sourceforge.

btw. in .pl check .tpnet.pl prices ;p 5000 euro for static ip 2mbit, per 
month. 500 euro for 9kbit one. and 50 euro for dynamic ip service @ 512kbit 
???????? this is abuse!

i think ripe.net should be more strict about their policies.
afrerall this is selling ip numbers - ripe net provides them for free 
afrerall?  why then you pay 25 e and you can't have more than one?
ripe should just turn off all ip ranges used for such abuse , indicating that 
having unrestricted ip connection with static ip's sold @ much more 
expensive price than dynamic is considered as selling an ip's -> thus abuse.
also blocking user's ablity to route over internet should be also condition 
for immediate turning off such ip (i talk about 'static, but ONLY one ip's, 
with no ablity to forward requests for more to ripe)

also - selling dynamic ip lot cheaper than unrestricted static is so called 
'dumping' , and it is non-fair concurency . it's like selling bread with an 
agreement that you can't share it lot cheaper than without agreement.
it is not fair.


btw. i would be glad to switch to another ISP and ip range registar , if it 
had policy not allowing abuse. it would be small, porn, warez and spam free 
community, but phew. i have to live in local network anyway, why not.
