I just looked at this and as long as the file formats haven't changed
much, it should be easy. When somebody get's a chance we should look
at how gnome-vfs uses the file database to determine the type of a file
looking at the first few hundred bytes (this is needed elsewhere).

These are very strange .. make sure that you have an uptodate CVS tree
and c++ v 3.2 (rerun configure just to be sure and send the output
if it still fails).
