Not in my CVS-tree as of ~ 2.5 hours ago, there isn't (I don't think 
 it's imprtant how it's called internally, as it's quite happy to 
 download an album if you rename the file from .emp to .rmp). And at 
 first glance I don't see any function that'd break the filename into 
 name.ext. ICBW, of course, not being a C++ programmer.
