go and read the archives of the devel branch.  There was a long call to 
win32 developers who wanted to fix win32 but none could.  So it was 
removed rather than continue being buggy and representative of zinf.

Win32 users != win32 developers so just because people use it in win32 
doesn't help us any.

Dont hold your breath for any modern win32 release anytime soon other 
than that based on 2.2.1
