I agree, xpath expressions are much more flexible for selecting learning = object metadata. Probably also easier to reconfigure? (just write a new = xpath). Could you elaborate on the new metadata searches that require analysis = of the XML? Is it for the curriculum organiser use cases? Or the new browse = interface?
