Problems updating global preferences

Hello, List,

After logging in as an administrator to my installation of Anthill, when I 
attempt to update user preference, I am simply redirected back to 
admin.php, and the changes don't "take".

I know I was once able to do this; oddly enough, it appears to work 
occasionally. That is to say, once in a while I will get the "preferences 
updated" message. The only thing I can guess at this point is that the go 
value of change is not always passed back to admin.php, so it doesn't do 
the update, but just redisplays the same page. All other functionality in 
so far as I have tested appears to work.

Server:
Windows 2000
PHP 4.2.2
MySQL 4.1
Apache 1.3.27
Anthill 0.2.3

NOTE: There are two separate and distinct installations of Anthill running 
on this server. Neither appears to work.

Client: (maybe the client is the issue?)
Windows XP
IE 6.x

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
