Well it would have to be the first non-blank line in the email and on
a line on it's own. I don't see many emails starting with:

  [

Is that documented anywhere? I was considering supporting

  property: value

as well as:

  property = value

so it looks like email headers which is supported by some addons to rt.

I agree, but we run that risk on the subject line as well and I think
messing up that single line format is easier.
