Without having a look at your script it is hard to say why.

Long time ago I did a customization which I documented in the
Wiki. See here:

May be you can figure out what works wrong in your auditor 
by looking at this and may be at the other customization 
examples in the Roundup wiki?

Above you wrote you are using Debian.  
Therefore I assume you use Exim 4.x as your MTA.  

In this case you may also use Exim filter rules 
to achieve your goal.  See here for more information:
