The #1 annoyance I have with most CMS products is the complete lack of control over the markup it spits out (which is usually bad to begin with). > What functionality are you actually after? What I'm trying to avoid is the 'hey, we have Sharepoint, let's just use and force everyone's needs around this particular product' by getting a slightly longer list of things to at least consider at this point. As for what we need, 90% of the intranet will consist of departments having maybe 1-10 pages of HTML content, and then multiple lists of various PDF and Word files. Niceties would be the ability for people to post news and discussion boards could be useful. There are also very specific business needs that we'll simply build ourselves...employee directories, form databases, etc. So we're not necessarily looking for a product that does everything (as I know they don't exist). -Darrel
