Hello Jaakko,

 >> I would like to evaluate WYSIWYG/HTML editor solutions for our
content entry screens. I was hoping people who can speak from experience
could recommend a product.

As a vendor of a CMS with WYSIWYG XML editing, we often get asked for a
standalone editor recommendation by folks that are developing their own
CMS. We have thoroughly evaluated most WYSIWYG editors and my
recommendation would be as follows:

- best XHTML editor - XSTANDARD (Pros: no other text area type editor I
have seen on the market currently produces clean valid XHTML out of the
box, easy integration, super friendly dev team, affordable)

- best XML editor - XOPUS (Pros: real time schema validation, *great* UI
and flexibility, tons of user friendly features to hide XML editing
complexity from non-tech user, affordable, easy integration if you are
comfortable with XML/XSLT already)

Hope this is helpful,
Iva.
