Hi,

I just came over announcement from MYSQL.COM about releasing MaxDB 
(re-branded and enhanced version of SAP DB). Avaiable under GNU GPL 
licence with possible (but not necessary) commercial support.

Never tried it, but it looks really good. Possibly good candidate for 
another OGo db connector.
