If you search the various OGo mailing lists this idea has come up a few
times in the last couple months.  I don't think any of it has gone past
the suggestion stage.

Other than lowering the barrier to entry for new developers (which I
think is a good reason) what would the other benefits be?  I can see how
Plone would benefit from using the the OGo calendar backend - free busy
logic, outlook, pilot, and now evolution integration -- but how would
OGo benefit?
