This seems more like a specific application of something like the obj_link
functionality to me.   

To be goth GW and CRM one would want BOTH "associated companies" and "accounts" 
(coming from a standpoint of someone who works in an organization split into 13
divisions that are all legally different companies).   Simply providing a view
where the attributes are relabeled would be too limiting.

Now if projects could have 'types' and present a different view of elements
based upon that type maybe we would have something.

But if it is possible to construct some rather straight forward form rules for
create and removing object relations (obj_link?) that would be the ideal
solution IMHO.

There themes are quite nice.

One issue with CRM stuff is that it really is highly amorphous, ever company
(even different divisions) will want to categorize and stage things in
different ways.
