There is an incredibly large potential user-base out there, wasting
their time with systems that yet aspire to the degree of sophistication
we have just in our 1X releases.

At one time, there was a broad enough community for PostNuke to cause
major technical book publishers to approach it's lead developers in
hopes of getting guides written to help further propagate use of the system.

We left all that behind in our pursuit of a more sophisticated system
than was feasible under the heavy burden of such a dedicated user-base.
We spent the last few years rewriting the rule-book on what can be done
with a "CMS".

The user-base is still our there, floating around between the few
remaining open source systems still kicking and the trap of proprietary
systems that lies in wait for them.

I would see a Developers Crusade to recapture that user-base and become
the shining light in the darkness of online business.

I would like to help foster other personalities in the dev community
that wish to get up on the soapbox and help evangelize the system (Xaraya).

The potential locked inside Xaraya is continually underestimated, even
by it's most experienced core developers. The same is true of online
business in general; business owners remain ignorant of the most
powerful tools available to them for a variety of reasons.

What I see as my most important goal is to spread awareness of Xaraya as
a tool that can revolutionize how business is run, not just as the
application powering another online business card or brochure site
trying to pass itself off as a viable online presence.

Xaraya is not an elite ninja training academy hidden in the mountains,
but the degree to which it lacks a real online presence of it's own make
it of little difference.

Some of us depend on Xaraya as our means of livelihood. The focus needs
to be on further enabling that ability so that others can see the
potential to do the same.

In order for them to see that, we need to get out there and "represent".
I aim to be the one representing.
