At this point, and for some time, we have needed to reassess everything.

What Xaraya has done in the past obviously has not worked as well as it
could have. Everyone needs to put aside their narrow wants so that we
can work together to assemble viable long term plans and goals which
everyone can accept, even if they don't fully agree with the details.
Everyone should be prepared to give something up for the greater good,
everyone should be willing to contribute, as there is far more to a
project like Xaraya than just writing code, and everyone should be
realistic about how much time and effort they are able to dedicate to
the project.

We know who our competition is, and we can use any or all of those
projects as models for what we need to do. But we have a limited number
of hands able and willing to get Xaraya back on track, and I think we
should start with the most visible (even what may seem superficial)
changes, so that the net at large knows we aren't as dead as we might seem.

As far as I'm concerned, everything is on the table.

And while I'm replying to this post, I would like to request that
everyone resist taking significant initiative on an individual basis
until we have leadership in place. We can only act as a team if our
efforts are coordinated.
